John Tattooed for the first time in ’87 while he was in the Navy and never looked back. Self-taught and shaped by legends like Adrian Jury, Deane Holland, and Dean Sacred. He ran Monsta Truck Tattoo in Napier for nearly 25 years before setting up in Paraparaumu. These days, he’s all about bold, clean work with a Japanese influence — ‘proud to be guesting weekly with the crew at Rogers Tatooart’.

John charges $200 per hour and $1200 for day sessions
